About Us
Welcome to Mamas Who Hustle! I’m Shianna, some call me Susie - a creative soul, a mama to two beautiful boys and the heart behind this growing brand. Mamas Who Hustle is more than just a business It’s a reflection of my love for creativity, family, and helping others celebrate life’s special moments.
My journey into entrepreneurship began in 2019, when I created Lit Wick Candle Co. At the time, I didn’t have kids yet, but I was navigating some of the hardest challenges in my life. I had just experienced the devastating loss of a best friend, and was searching for a way to channel my grief and refocus my energy. Candles became that outlet. I’ve always been intrigued by the way scent triggers emotion and memory, and I wanted to create something meaningful that could bring comfort, joy, and positivity. Lit Wick was born from that vision, offering trendy candles designed to make any space feel like home.
When I became a mom, my creativity blossomed in other ways. My boys inspired me to celebrate life’s little moments in thoughtful and personal ways. There was always an opportunity be creative, like curating custom Easter baskets, designing personalized invitations, or making handmade gifts for teachers. Motherhood brought a whole new level of color and creativity to my life. I want to share that joy with other moms who, like me, want to make life special for their families.
That’s how Mamas Who Hustle came to life. Here, you’ll find custom creations made with love, from treat wrappers to personalized gifts, all designed to help you celebrate the people and moments that matter most. Each item is crafted with care and thoughtfulness to bring joy and thoughtfulness to your life.
But this brand is about more than just products. My dream is to create a space where creative moms can come together, share ideas, and learn. That’s why I’m working toward offering digital products, like downloadable templates, so other DIY moms can bring their own visions to life while saving time and money. I want to empower moms to create, whether they’re making memories for their families or starting their own entrepreneurial journey.
With a background in K-12 education and over a decade of experience in youth development, teaching is a natural part of who I am. Long term, I hope to transfer skills from my formal education, to mentor and teach other moms and crafter’s not just how to create beautiful things, but also how to build sustainable businesses. From hands-on craft tutorials to eBooks and business tips, I’m passionate about helping others succeed while creating something they’re proud of.
Mamas Who Hustle is my way of celebrating motherhood, creativity, and community. It’s a place where moms (and anyone who loves thoughtful, custom creations) can find inspiration and support.
